I've recently discovered that eating food can be viewed as an investment in your health and not just as fuel to keep coding.
Seeing as an accountant: the question is whether this expenditure is an operating expense or an asset investment.

What's the difference?
Management expenses: paying salaries to employees, travel expenses, ensuring day-to-day business operations;
Asset investment: building a new automated factory, generating new sales revenue every day
