I see that shit all the time. And yea makes no sense. Even if one still thinks they work and are needed, that way aint doing shit. I suspect its more a 'security blanket' type thing than anything else

Right. I did that when I was forced to wear a mask at work, but I didn't think the mask did anything anyway, but there's no excuse anymore.
Same here actually. Long before covid, I was well aware of their uselessness, but played that game at work as well. And since I worked in a clean room wearing a 'bunny suit', I was already wearing em at the job so it really didnt change much. And little to no enforcement elsewhere in my area, so wore elsewhwhere at minimum, mainly a local farmers market that was very strict due to the elderly customers.
