I see what you’re saying. Zap #2 is disincentivized because your return is <50%

But after zap #3 it should be fine.. right?

And I definitely view zaps as a way to acknowledge the receiver’s quality, value add, general fun and good spirit, etc.

And to your last point… hell yeah the same person can zap 2x! Didn’t even think of that lol

Agreed. In a sense, zaps are like smiles or nods in meatspace conversations, and I LOVE how seamless it is here. Unlike other social media, this way of liking does carry a small sacrifice, and thus contains real information. I like all these little games people are creating to push the boundaries of the medium. It's fun being here

It’s downright joyful

The real decision to give up a few sats is “proof” that a person appreciates the thing they received.

I think we’re just scratching the surface with regard to the v4v model and it’s invigorating to be a part of its inception/implementation
