I've been surprised to find out how many people want ghostwriters.

Really?

Forks are just a technique for external editing and authorship.

It's always about the forks with this one 🤣😂

Just thinking through the implications.

Everything is always going to be taken out of context, changed, manipulated, misinterpreted

People do it naturally, even right to your face

I can't see a world where it will ever stop

+the cats out of the bag

you'll be able to add identifiers to the forked notes to show the end user the original note and all of the edits

That's something kind of cool

Everything is fake.

I'm not fake

Me, neither.

I'm bizarrely real.

We're seekers of authentic objective truth

It does exist, #Bitcoin proves it exists

Right?! It's like a repeat of covid times with everyone mindlessly aplauding tech that will divide people and bring out their worst. I didn't really expect to find that on nostr of all places. I'm getting closer to writing nostr off as a failed free speech experiment and deleting like every other social media account I've owned.

It's so all going so creepy and dystopian, but you know that I have hope. There are still good people here, doing good work, coming up with good solutions.

But we users have to learn to vote with our feet. We can't be passive.

Mine is named Google Gemini.

I just always thought people like the idea of an npub giving a clear entity-note association, but some people really do want other people to write their notes.

My notes will always be from me. Promise.

And ghostwriters can simply use gen AI to churn out whatever

I'm thinking this is all headed toward bots talking to bots talking to AI npub babysitters talking to group npubs hiding behind a person's PfP.

Let the fakery begin.
