Folks talk about changing the world, but can't even change a nostr users life every month by pooling $1/mo in sats that all go to the same person.

Why would you expect them to help?
It wouldn't matter who it is.
$1/mo isn't enough to effect your wellbeing.
But it could change a life if enough people give it to the same person..
Regardless of who it went to, you'd know you actually helped change someone's life.
We're in America and $5-20k would change our lives.... imagine what it would do for a Nigerian scammer?
Either way, nostr/ bitcoin adoption happens.

It's not like everyone would be sending it to me and I'd be sending it to the person...
Nostr and the bitcoin lightning network already solve the trust issue. You can just zap them yourself.
Even If is was just 5000 of the 20k weekly users....
It would change lives and promote nostr/ bitcoin adoption as every npub selected would have there authentic story to share.
Like I have back in 2023 when everyone here came together and helped my family not be homeless with 4m+ sats...
I've experienced the true magic of community and cooperation and see what it can do first hand.
It's CHEAPER to help others in sats than it ever has been before.
Why can't we keep doing it, and scale, if bitcoin is deflationary?
Like really.. what is $1/mo in sats to you? Pooled together, it could change many lives, and give others a reason to join nostr, participate, and adopt our values.

What’s a dollar to me?
Well, my pooled dollars mean a lot to me.
Who would control this 1 dollar pool? Why should we fund it?
I don't have all the answers. I don't know how to code or how things work....
Start with me for proof of concept. Half goes to change my life(solar for a mining farm)and the other half goes to devs who built it 🤷
But I do know we could be changing lives as a cooperative community effectively forcing Nostr to be seen. And we're not.
I make less than $20k/yr and I can give up $1/mo in sats to help drastically change a life...
