Worse than everything is a subscription is everything is "free" but paid for by spying at levels unimaginable just 20 years ago.
Cox media leaked that they are listening to every single thing you say from every phone and using it to send you ads and manipulate your feeds and it barely made the news on tech sites.
I'll gladly subscribe to a privacy respecting service and do subscribe to proton and kagi to get out of that world.
