The company admitted to their employees in a town hall follow-up that has been spending more than they earn and projects like Fortnite Creator program is not landing its goals and while they overestimated the post-pandemic scenario, the will remain hiring for new projects.

In contrast about talking about new projects, Epic will sell the music-based social network Bandcamp to the marketer Songtradr and spinning out marketing company SuperAwesome to operate independently.
