There is something wonderfully strange about Bitcoin ATMs like these

Hidden among a bunch of ads, typically for booze or grass or lotto tickets: a real way out

Almost a bit like the Zoltar machine in Big

Something magical hidden among the mundane

A portal to another dimension

Go inside and its probably hidden behind a stack of pallets or something. Incentivized at some time by fiat not orange pilled.

You find Bitcoin ATMs where you least expect it. For me, it was Wisconsin in between a gas station and Mexican restaurant (all in one building).

Okay. How does it work?

I’d rather learn here, instead of standing in front of one. Thanks!

Depends. There is a varying range of KYC. Some don’t require any for small txs others require an Id for anything

You'te going to have to stand in front of one to figure it out anyway, because each company has its policies. Where I live, I've got half a dozen BTC shops and ATMs within walking distance.

I haven't used any this last couple of years but they used to be non KYC (but still would ask for a phone number).

8-10% premium, so I stopped using them and moved on to Bisq anyway.

Thank you!
