early morning is when the critters are active, fun to see the activity
Bouldering is fun... I've also heard shrooms there is pretty epic but haven't tried that myself

Also Pappy and Harriet’s in nearby Pioneertown is worth a visit if you have time. Sometimes they have live music but not when I’ve been there. Still enjoyed it.
