Me too. The battery being depleted wasn’t a good reason to replace the whole phone. You could just replace the battery. Have an extra one at home…

That’s smart.

Now Apple lets you replace it for a fee. But I feel like replaceable is better. Especially if the battery gets warm or expands and then damages the phone components

Better to have the option imo. For sure it’s a hurdle to have to set up an appointment at the genius bar. Then again a replaceable battery isn’t free either. (But more flexibility to buy)
