the storage needed to have a youtube like solution on nostr would be insane
google says 300 million gigabytes on youtube, even 1% of that would be insane
am i missing something or... is this not feasible in a youtube like system?

If I was a youtuber I would be looking to setup up my own server so I can run my relay for my audience slowly directing my followers here to my relay and with all my videos. I would do pay walls for content. I would slowly start coming here with my followers.. idk I could have it all wrong and hey it's not possible to make nostr my main news Chanel for my audience. If you are really good and you "audience" really "follows" you I would think they would follow to wat h the content they want to wat h because you make it.. but again idk maybe I got it all wrong lmao
thay would be a decent approach, you host your own videos, but then your bandwidth would need to be very good
anything with 100k views in a day would require great internet speeds
the idea is good, removing power from bigtech is good
but being the product and getting a free service is ingrained on the internet of today
"it has to be money free" no matter how it gets paid, "not with my money"
so privacy and sovereignty goes out the window
