That question feels like a trap lol so I’m not going to answer it.

That said in a broad societal sense often the threat of violence is enough.

Americans don’t believe in shooting everyone we disagree with or who causes an injustice. That’s not how it works. But the citizenry being well armed is an important bulwark against tyranny.

Because the government also works via the threat of violence and if it ever grows too tyrannical then the American people have the ability to fight back.

Would it have been ok for Jews to shoot nazis as they tried to displace them from their homes?

The answer is yes obviously.

It’s important to have the ability to defend yourself.

Invalid question. People who disarm citizens or arrest people for thoughts on social media are not public servants. People who engage in illegitimate acts of government using the threat of state violence should always know getting shot by the citizens who wish to live in peace is an option.
