By announcing the Bitcoin strategic reserve the U.S. is making this a more partisan issue (in addition to dems already doing so…guys guys, believe me, I know!)

This was a stunt from Lummis. Could’ve waited for more bi-partisan support. Also, the plan itself is flawed.

There was no rush or need to do this. Now literally your purchasing power could be affected with gov speeding up dumping coins, who knows. (Like it’s fine medium term, whatever)

The conference did quite some damage, imo, from Trump, to this reserve stunt, and beyond. Egos ran amuck, this was not low-time preference thinking.
