Getting to a point of cognitive dissonance with the justification of paying taxes. There really is nothing the federal government does that I consider moral or ethical, but if I don’t pay income taxes, I’m going to jail and won’t be able to provide or be there for my family. Not sure why this is weighing on me so much recently.
