Status update: My wife and daughter are out of town for two days so I’m going to surprise her and re paint our bedroom (which is long overdue) on my day off. But for me that’s not just painting. Whoever painted previously did a really shitty job so I have to prep the room for about 3-4 hours and then repaint. That’s just how I’m wired.

Thought experiment:

Imagine a world where everyone had an internal desire to try their best to do everything that they do really well.

In that world I’d be almost finished repainting my bedroom 😆.
