Just tried to onboard a friend of mine to #nostr, but it’s still so complicated…

What happened to easy zapping with alby btw? Does everyone need to setup an alby hub now?

So you can’t get zaps without investing 150$ to open a #lightning channel?

Or ist there still an easier way?

From what I understand Alby is still easy there's just a limit on how much you can store without a hub, and you need an invite code to sign up. I'm using without Hub because the limit is way higher than what I need anyway

If I remember correctly, the custodial wallet only works for legacy Alby accounts. New customers need to use the hub.

Primal on Android and on iOS offers a lightning wallet within the app.
