If you are using the latest Debian and your calculator app (gnome-calculator) is acting up since some time, disable your internet, start it up, go to the settings and tell it to never update currency exchange rates. This should fix that bug in this more than two years old package. Or poke Debian to update to a newer version.

They won’t add fkn sparrow wallet but the calculator app checks FIAT CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATES!!!!

Debian has now flatpak and snap integrated, too. It's a bit weird to me to have these other systems that are pretty incompatible with binary transparency I think. Neither of those has sparrow though.
I hear if sparrow can get into Debian, it can get into …. Ugh. I forget what it’s called
