I have whole hedgerows around the garden. The bees go fucking crazy for the flowers. I cut it back several times a year as it produces an incredible amount of bio mass for the compost pile.

As a kid my mother would take the leaves and steep them to make a pultice for my scrapes and cuts. Place the soft side down on a wound and let it dry. Next day wound healed.

Bees absolutely lose their minds over comfrey. It produces flowers almost the entire season so there is always a source of food for them.

Love that stuff too! Need a lot of comfrey planted next spring. Already have 700 saplings ordered… redbuds, dogwoods, buttonbush, oaks, hickorys, some pines. Hope to grow from 2 hives this year to 10 next season (20 if possible!)
