Socks. Nearly always merino wool blend (heavy on the wool, they last longer).
Knock off crocs or Redwing boots at work. Sandals in the summer time.

I’ve tried wearing Irish setters at work but they don’t last as long as Wolverine boots… now I usually just alternate between a 6 inch in the summer and an 8 inch during the winter, and I really like composite toes during the winter because I can kick the steps in my work truck and knock most the snow off
