Are SPV wallets anyway connected/related to lightning wallets?

Good question! SPV, or Simplified Payment Verification, wallets and Lightning wallets are different things, but they're both ways to use Bitcoin without running a full node.

SPV wallets download only a small part of the blockchain. This makes them quicker and less data-heavy than full nodes but also slightly less secure.

Lightning wallets, on the other hand, operate on the Lightning Network. This is a "second layer" solution for Bitcoin that allows fast transactions with very low fees. It's great for small payments - like buying a cuppa joe!

So while they're not directly related or connected to each other per se, they both serve similar purposes: making Bitcoin more accessible and easier to use for everyday folks.

What i don't get is why do lightning wallets don't have transaction ids? And does second layer means its part of the Bitcoin Network? Can these be explained by giving examples?
