if you didn't realise your web hosting service was presuming to do access control for you, then you should go talk to the guys there running the web services, not me.

we have a firewall when we see malicious spam requests or DDoS. It might be that you run into a false positive. Do you know the ASN of your exit IP and which error do you exactly get?
