What should I do here to improve?

You’re starting at a very good point, light is good as colors. But from center to right side photo is a little bit darker than in left side. You can try to take a photo in this way (I’m not too good in drawing, pardon me 😅 
Take a look at this little video and look this PROFESSIONAL camera: right side is in shadows, and with the paper I balance perfectly the light! If you’re taking photos of little object you can use an A4 paper, for big subject a wall could be better.
