It’s Kyc.

So, I want to get in asap to purchase btc. It seems like the way to go from my research with them if I’m going to buy >$500 in terms of fees compared to Strike or CashApp

I don’t know enough yet to know how to set myself up for self custody just yet, but I know I want to be able to and they seem to endorse that.

If you set up direct deposit via CashApp (doesn’t need to be the full check, could be a portion) you pay 0% spread and 0 fees, once you accumulate a good amount (say 1 million sats) you can withdraw for free as well.
