In my case I've been working with PyCharm, living hell for the performance and useless functionalities...

Managed to switch to Atom after a week.

Then NeoVim and now I'm on Helix. 😎👍

My main focus is to limit reliance on software assistance other than pure linting and completion. Thanks to that I can use with anything and still write decent code.

Do you have any recommendations on Helix? I looked at it. Looks very nice. Didn't really switch to it (yet), because it felt a bit uncomfortable for a few common actions. It seems to do a lot of things right.

Do you use plugins? Any vastly different configs? Anything else?
