I have decided to discontinue my comfrey salve made with coconut oil. After personally preferring the tallow base, I also discovered that coconut oil salve does not handle heat well.

I did a test this morning with my tallow based salve but having it in my hot truck all day to see what happened and nothing changed! It was a tiny bit easier to smooth but it did not liquify at all.

I don’t want to offer inferior product so this is the best decision.
