And yes! But (despite trying to dip my toe in the water numerous times) I have still not put this nsec into another client.
It’s a problem though - I create other profiles to test clients, but never really stick with them enough since my whole social graph is here. Which kind of undercuts one of the biggest values of Nostr in the first place…
Like I trust Alby Hub as a Lightning node, but worry about browser extensions. I downloaded Nostore in 2023 but haven’t used it yet. Maybe I just don’t understand the technicals of it enough to feel confident about it… (so perhaps you could ELI5 to me? Worth a try 😉)
i guess i understand. i always test a client with a new nsec at first before using mine. i now use Amber with Olas, but i did use my nsec after initially testing it.
Is Amber android-only? Of all the nsec-storage-signer things, is there one that has arguably better security than others?
Amber is Android only, but you could use a bunker on a laptop or desktop or your Bitcoin node. It just needs to be connected and online 24/7.
