When you eat plant-based, you have to choose between 2 extremes:
(A) eat enough of each specific type of plant so you can check off enough vitamin boxes to function, resulting in aborption of a ton of excess calories and antinutrients. (you'll still need to manage a shelf of non-bioavailable supplements since there are tons of essential nutrients ZERO plants have)
(B) manage a fluctuating range of starving yourself, so you can keep your caloric intake low enough to not have to deal with the constant bloating and gastrointestinal stress. Tradeoff being, you're now nutrient-deficient, so you instead have to deal with mental instability, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, etc.
Plant-based eating is akin to playing life on "expert mode" where there is no winning- just constant hot potato-ing between different forms of suffering (and tragically, most who are stuck in this phase don't even know it)
