I’m not believing YouTube at all. If you look up their revenue for the last 4 years, it is just under $100 billion. This would mean they are not a profitable business. Until they prove otherwise, I think the number is a lot lower and concentrated on the top 10% of content creators.

Its the same monopolistic playbook as amazon and google search. Get everyone into your walled garden with low prices and high affiliate link rewards then reverse course once all competitors are gone and people are dependent

Only the conglomerates like alphabet can afford to operate at a loss
