switching from Damus to Plebstr reminds me of the way i’ve been explaining the value of your keys to my folks when setting up their #bitcoin walllets:

“imagine you have your money with Chase and then you have to move to another part of the country where they don’t. if accounts were based on your seed words, you’d be able to have access to your funds through any bank as long as you had those words. the bad thing is so would anyone else if they had them.”

Maybe i’ll try and sell my non-bitcoin friends on Nostr in a similar way.
