As Pride Month begins, I thought I'd share a small story from yesterday. My husband Steve and I are in Hamburg to celebrate the 80th birthday of our friend Wolfram, whom we've known over 40 years. We've visited him and his wife Karin in Germany over the years, and they've made visits to us in the US a number of times.

Wolfram's birthday party was yesterday. As people milled about talking, a friend of his came to talk to us.
