I just read a theory (it sounds reasonable, but I have no proof) that the reason we have so many old and incompetent people in D.C. is because the Epstein/Ghislane factory for blackmailed and controlled politicians was destroyed. Those that control the politicians are having a harder time getting the goods on potential and existing politicians, so they aren't able to bring in more of their own. Because of that, they are continuing to support those that are so far gone they should be in a nursing home.
