well, the details are important.

if you were not aware that volunteering to serve your "country" would absolve you of certain inalienable rights (literally cannot be liened or sold or traded away) then you can still correct such status administratively if so desired.

your rights are unalienable. it means you cannot lawfully even consent to them being given away or traded for any such benefits or legal status...

one central pillar of the process is creating an administrative record, by notifying agencies and principals, is that ir proves the separation of your Public and Private identities, should the need arise for you to defend such a thing.
