I think you are being unfair. The individual employees aren't necessarily dumb and lazy. It's when you get them all working towards a common goal that the true depths of stupidity and laziness are plumbed. None of us is as dumb as all of us. 🙌

I will not be arguing on that topic. Just will tell you that I been working for one of the biggest law departments here in Chicago and seen everything from inside! We had over 100 employees in our ownership division and ~90% of them were going to kitchen like 3 times in a day, 10 times to the rest room, talking to each other and doing the bare minimum of cases they supposed to! In case if the supervisors started asking more from them because there are people who were obviously outperforming them, they start yelling everywhere that it is a “discrimination” typical American thing! Twitter is a great example of what should happen to the governmental jobs when Elon cut the employees count!
