there were massive flaws with the generator rooms, if that had been properly handled/designed then no earthquake followed by any tsunami would compromise the site and it would be just another regular day (with a mostly inocuous tsunami).

ofc you don't. And you shouldn't need any to question things. If you'd have planned, designed or built any building of any significance other than a shed you'd know not to put the generators where they would get easily flooded.
