Question, in a multisig address, if you sign 1 of 2 of the keys, can this be verified by a third party even though it is an incomplete signature.

I'm thinking of Strategy partially signing a small transaction to move Bitcoin between two of their addresses as proof of asset.

And yes, I know Coinbase hold all Strategy's Bitcoin.

Yup. If you sign a PSBT with one key and drop it into Sparrow - it does exactly this- verifies that first signature and prompts you to sign the PSBT with one of the other two keys.

My zap failed, is it me or you?

Hmmm I’ll investigate

Ok issue was on my end. Thanks for the catch!!

John was faster than me. But I can verify that he is correct.

However you are doxing yourself to whomever needs this advice information.

Seek a better strategy… coinjoin funds into a nunchuck multisig and share this maybe?

The whole point is to dox yourself.

i.e. Strategy to publish a1 of 2 signature for anyone to verify.

OK I clearly did not understand the use case... My bad.

In that case I learnt something new today, thank you!

Understood 😂

Have a nice day.
