I literally said sorry for being so annoying about it, for being so serious, twice, and explained why I'm passionate about it. And I said clearly that I don't think less of you for having these innocuous opinions that I've heard from other people, have been annoyed by for a while, and was simply expressing an opinion on. I'm a naturally disagreeable person but I meant no insult, and I said as much.
But you didn't take my apology and instead you made a shitty comment about me being a know-it-all. If your ego is so fragile that you have to insult me, just talk to someone else.

I am relaxed. I'm also just myself. I'll interact with you or not according to my values, in whatever way I want. If I don't like the conversation or have anything to learn or that the other person values me sharing, I'm out. Simple as that. Failing to read the room is not something I care to have met with an insult to my humility. So I'm out. Deal with it.
