Heads up, Nashvillians. BNA have slipped in facial recognition at the entrance to security checkpoints. Of course, they behave as if it’s mandatory. It’s not. Opt out when and while you can.
Make tyranny just a little more expensive.

i opted out of one of thede recently and the TSA worker made a big deal out of verifying i look like my ID and took a good minute doing it
No doubt. My guy was super chill about it. Either way, I smile and remain firm.
Better start making glasses that shine on camera block a persons face out. Make it cheap & affordable so everyone can buy it. Don't be like people on the internet selling $150-300 for it make it $10-20 & help the world.
I have seen this in quite a few more airports, pretending it's mandatory. For me : After doing manual check, the TSA guy says it's just going to keep getting bigger, so I say "I disagree" . "Why" he asks?
"Have you thought of how soon they aren't going to need YOU to be here just to hold this device?"
Maaaaybe a gear clicked over just then.
