Trump granted a full pardon to Ross Ulbricht and called his mother to inform her

President Donald Trump personally informed Ross Ulbricht's mother that he had signed a full and unconditional pardon for her son.

"It was a pleasure to have signed Ross's full pardon," Trump said on the call.

Ulbricht, creator of the online marketplace Silk Road, had been sentenced to two life sentences plus 40 years in prison, a sentence Trump called "ridiculous."
