Yes it’s terrible but unfortunately not all crimes like this have a “deeper meaning” they just happen because society is breaking down. Specially in how that region of the country is enforcing or not enforcing laws and other levels of society crumbling.
Doesn’t lessen the sadness though.

The terrible thing is that there was a driver in San Francisco who could have saved Bob, but the garbage driver ignored him, causing Bob to bleed profusely. Missed the golden moment of treatment.
his wife. Don't care about him either. Bob didn't come home at 2:30.a.m. His wife did not call to care about his safety. Not to mention letting Bob go out on the street alone. How can he rest assured that his husband is out and about alone at around two o'clock in the morning. His wife should accompany him out. If 2 people come out together, they won't die. His wife didn't care about him and didn't love him.

I think this is where people’s cultural norms seem hard to understand. Not saying one is “better” than other but at the least it makes it hard for people from such different cultural norms to fully understand each.
Much like I have no experience of what the tomb day was you spoke of early and I asked you about.
All people have much to learn about other cultures they haven’t lived in natively for an extended period of time.
