Why does nunchuck put QR scan key as air gapped but NFC not?

Is NFC less safe than QR? Is NFC not air gapped? What is air gapped anyway?

I really want coldcard MK4 but now thinking of getting keystone due to what I'm seeing on nunchuck..

Please coldcard fans enlighten me

Why not get the Coldcard Q1 when it comes out

It only comes on or after Q4 2023.

I'm planning to go all in and withdraw all to a hardware wallet within this month. I have a ledger since 2017 but not sure if it's safe anymore and whether I should still use it

I will say the recent firmware update last week helped with the NFC / Nunchuck Bug where it would be highly sensitive to signing transactions

You can also use air gapped micro SD with sparrow on the same wallet with CC, so that option is opens

I use mainly nunchuk for incoming which is super easy to copy and paste wallet addresse to receive. No signature necessary on incoming.

To engage the wallet via cold card nfc it’s one tap to set up the wallet itself on nunchuck initially.

The ColdCard NFC is super sensitive I don’t believe it transfers much data at all. Minimal.

I don’t see it being a threat.

I personally signed a transaction today via Nunchuk / CC MK4

I feel like you are splitting hairs there 🙃

It’s only a max ~800 bytes and that’s pushing it

Future will fix the bandwidth

Yeah. Perhaps I'm just overthinking due to how nunchuck not putting adding coldcard key under the air gapped definition..

Thanks guys
