Didn't buy mining equipment so far, because it didn't worth for me.
Would it make sense to start mining in this high fee environment with not spec mining ASICs, but pc, laptop, server, any hardware I can find?

Unfortunately you can’t mine with PC, laptop and server anymore. You would need ASICS. The answer would really come down to your price of electricity and if you would run them yourself or pay to host them somewhere. Then evaluate those costs / risks against just buying Bitcoin.

But then what is the point of the NerdMiner e.g? It makes sense because of the low power consumtion? So its like a lottery?
I have not used it, but it would be low TH solo mine and total lottery / luck. I have seen posts where people have connected them to a solar panels so there is no energy cost, however the odds are astronomical that you would ever solve a block and in all likelihood would not recoup the money to buy or build the miner. If you are doing it for fun or educational purposes, it’s worthwhile. If you want to mine and make money or get no KYC sats, then you will need an ASIC.
