If not, it should be. Only two I’m sure of are morels and puffballs

I'm fluent in chanterelle.

Picture this says: Pezizaceae - Cup fungi, violet fairy cup, red brown cup, cellar cup, violet cup fungus, common brown cup, bay cup, pig's ears, brown black cup, home cup, domestic cup fungus, false sparassis, barnyard cup, bladdar cup, blistered cup, common dung cup, smooth fairy cup, pink crown.

Aren’t fungi the coolest?

I only really know the more useful stuff so I can’t say much other than it ain’t one of the types I’d pick

…other than to try and identify 😂😂

If #mushroom isnt yet a thing, let's make it a thing. I have been wanting to develop the mushroom identifying and foraging skills for some time now. I once thought I found turkey tail but I am not confident enough in my own knowledge of fungus. I'm a self-taught herbalist so I can identify a lot of wild plants, but mushrooms have always felt like next level shit.

My wife is a foraging maniac, she loves finding free food to eat. Mushrooms are so interesting, they play such an essential role in the health and interconnected ecosystem of a forest...

If I lived to be thousands of years old I would barely scratch the surface of all the fantastic things to learn about nature, our planet, the human mind, it's endless!
