Well, if you define taxes as something like a membership fee like for being in some club, then yes, why not?

The membership in this club offers you (some) protection, some basic services and with its partner program the entry to other clubs based on its membership card.

If the club forces me to pay even if I do not agree with their package of offers... then why do I want to separate the control of the money from the club ???

The club should under no circumstances be able to control the money. But regarding the part of not agreeing with the clubs "service package": Well, in an ideal world it would be pretty easy to just switch to another club.
