One of the #OtherStuff I would like to see in 2024 is a #bitcoin only exchange built on #Nostr working woth #lightning and maybe #cashu and #ecash, peer to peer, noKYC.

Well, I really think if we want go towards a more #bitcoin adoption and bottom up growth, there should be less friction possible to convert between sats onchain, lightning, ecash and users should be able to swap all of that for FIAT, and viceversa of course, in the easiest and effortless way.. services built for users by users, not big corporatios. IMO hiperbitcoinization is a long journey.

In any case, as of now, fiat can't get kicked out of the picture. It is very very hard to live on a BTC standard, I'm not sure if it's even possible.
Such a decentralized exchange would be great but I'm not sure how exactly it would be feasible to have an on ramp fiat thing... 🤷
I think something like vexl is the best attempt so far at p2p exchange. I wish it worked in the USA.
