Just learned this about my upcoming trip to Greece:

There’s a new “Climate Crisis Resilience Tax.”

No joke.

Starting Jan 1st, 2025, every guest has to pay it.

€2 per night – just for staying.

It’s literally called “Klimakrisen-Resilienzsteuer”

🤡😅🤷‍♂️

Makes me think though…

What’s next?

An “Inflation Resilience Tax”?

When fiat breaks, everything becomes a tax.

Reminds me of when I was visiting San Francisco and they had some sort of like 4% healthcare tax tacked on the bill to pay for employee healthcare.

Better off just charging me 4% more upfront and not letting me know you underpay your employees 🤣.

They collect taxes to buy weapons and tanks.

P.S. I was also planning a trip to Greece, thanks for sharing 🙏
