Imagine spending a decade plus in schools, putting in the work to enter society and contribute, only to have your energy constantly stolen by a politician.

No wonder kids are not excited to work. They sense things are not as they should be.

Inflation and the theft of your purchasing power..

It doesn't help that working most careers now (US perspective) is largely fruitless. There's no point to it anymore.

My kids don't know how lucky they are (yet). I think by the time they are mid 20s to 30s and talk to 'normal' peers, they'll understand how fortunate they are to have missed out on a year of lockdowns and about 10 years of classroom indoctrination 😅

I still hate "adulting". And, since I started this apprenticeship, it has only gotten worse. Energy constantly stolen by incapable coworkers, incompetent people between me and my goal and an absurdly unfair system and situation. x.x

It's a scam. That's why I choose to not pay more taxes.
