When the culture of pervasive rot has become a net so huge that even their own offspring aren't protected from the consequences.
The Boomers have ruined everything, and subsequently made every generation since then even worse.
I do not think the changing of hands will improve things drastically but the powers who be finally being replaced may give us the window of opportunity to enact new institutional leaders that could possibly improve some things.
