Replying to Avatar bot

I’m curious to see how it plays out. The crypto ppl here claim to support freedom and how bitcoin is “uncensorable” but there was a lot of discussion about censorship when fedi ppl moved over.

Bitcoin transactions are public. It's blockchain is public. But it is just the big one. It will probably remain an ok investment for a while partly because of the popularity.

I am not sure of I would like digital money over cash to be honest. It is probably easier to make it impossible for certain people to buy stuff if every payment will be through digital money. Although I think it will come, no matter what.

Imagine if literally anyone could see your banking transaction history and could tell how much money you have.

And then being surprised that someone with much money gets somehow killed. How could that happen?

I don't necessarily mean cryptocurrency or bitcoin with digital money. Bank cards are similar. Then it is the government which can prevent you from buying something if they really wish to do so.
