Hello #Nostr
Trying #Primal, very simple, almost no features, wallet and posts, didn't like the pseudo KYC non sense, seriously, is that the #Nostr way, KYC?, wrong message, not cool.
No Amber or external signer, only add your nsec, oh well, here we go, so well recommended that I will give it the benefit of the doubt, but again, not cool.
The wallet, instead to be your user name if available is some random funny name, not cool neither. The concept of a wallet on the app built in is odd to me, I guess some like it, to me is quite absurd
Zapping experience:
SO BAD!
The small group of people I would like to zap is on wallets on relays that require 0xChat, minibits, coinos LN addresses to be found, you have to add manually the relays! not cool!
Primal should add them by default, this interoperability is a bitch, a new NIP should be worked to have all wallets in Nostr speaking to each other, like a relay all wallets agree to sync with by default
If you are using primal add the following relays to be able to send zaps to most of people using #Nostr
wss://relay.minibits.cash/
wss://relay.coinos.io/
wss://wot.utxo.one/
wss://relay.0xchat.com/
And if they are not using Primal and you are, tell them to add Primal to their general relays, otherwise, they won't be able to zap you
How do I know?
I tried to zap a person and the wallet will do nothing! neither a message saying it could not find a relay with that LN address, not cool 😡, since nothing was happening I checked the relays on settings under Network and for my surprise many important relays were missing, and of course, not one relay for known eCash Nostr wallets was there.
Added them and all is good, zaps now work âš¡
I guess I will end up using #Amethyst (nostr:npub1nz64zngcqm8vj8nhrdkcjpfwn2rcaqysnxec88tqfclp5afrpglsqm0w5y ) instead although #0XChat (nostr:npub1tm99pgz2lth724jeld6gzz6zv48zy6xp4n9xu5uqrwvx9km54qaqkkxn72 ) is quite nice (just the little fonts are absurd, What is up with that? nuts!).
Even the NIP05 needed some leg work, Primal would not save the primal dot net NIP05 one with my username, had to make the edit with another client to make it happen 🤦
I am surprised so many influencers in the Nostr community use this instead of Amethyst or 0XChat, either way, will play with it for few moths, but so far is not a good experience.
