Yeah, we also have that. It's not a problem, if the number of apartments expands, but they usually don't.

People who own real estate hate when the amount of real estate on offer expands, as that reduces the scarcity of their own property, which causes the price to lower. So, they vote to keep everything the same and the price rises.

They make money off of surpressing other people's fertility, but okay.

I agree but... do you know that the tourists we have are double the population of the country? (more actually). That needs another kind of solution...

Increase the tourist tax, like Venedig did.

There are solutions. There is no will (for now,but something is moving in the horizon 😀). As you said, there are many that don't want something to change.
